You can sign in to PetWise AI with email and password or a supported OAuth provider. When you authenticate, we receive a unique identifier and, for OAuth, a display name and email address. We use this only to secure your account and personalize your experience.

Your account stores basic profile details you provide, along with your saved pets, chat history, and preferences. You can update or delete this information at any time from your account settings.

Details you enter about your pets — names, species, breed, weight, medications, conditions, vet contacts, and notes — are stored only on your account. Other users cannot see your pets.

Photos and documents you upload for your pets are stored in a private bucket, isolated to your account. Files are never publicly indexed. Signed URLs used to display files expire quickly.

We use a small number of cookies and similar local storage for essential functionality — keeping you signed in, remembering your preferences, and protecting against abuse. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising.

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which features are used and how the product performs. Analytics do not include your pet data, uploads, or chat contents.

Your data is stored with reputable cloud infrastructure providers. Backups are retained for a limited period to allow disaster recovery. We do not sell your data.

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, encryption at rest for uploaded files, row-level security in our database, and least-privilege access for our staff. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password.

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can delete individual pets, files, and chats from within the app, or contact us to request full account deletion.

PetWise AI is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us.
