By using PetWise AI ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — especially the sections about AI-generated content and veterinary care.
1. Acceptable use
You agree to use PetWise AI lawfully and respectfully. You will not attempt to disrupt the Service, misuse other users' data, upload harmful content, or use the Service to harm any animal, person, or system.
2. AI-generated content
Responses from Ask Wise are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for educational purposes only. AI can be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. Always evaluate answers with common sense and consult a licensed veterinarian for anything that matters to your pet's health.
3. No veterinarian-client relationship
Using PetWise AI does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship. PetWise AI is not a licensed veterinarian and does not diagnose disease, prescribe medication, or determine dosages. You remain fully responsible for decisions regarding your pet's health and care.
4. User responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for the security of your account credentials, and for reviewing AI responses before acting on them. In an emergency, contact your veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital immediately.
5. Intellectual property
The PetWise AI name, logo, design, and content are owned by PetWise AI. You retain ownership of the content you upload (pet photos, documents, notes) and grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the Service on your behalf.
6. Account suspension
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or place other users or animals at risk. Where possible, we'll give you notice and an opportunity to export your data.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PetWise AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or for any decisions made based on AI-generated content.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PetWise AI is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
